Global Silicone Network March 10: According to Anadolu News on March 6, according to data compiled by the Anadolu Agency, gasoline prices in the United States have climbed to the highest level in nearly 10 years.
The national average for regular gasoline was $3.837 a gallon, the highest level since September 2012, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).
The highest price was in California at $4.422.
It was followed by Hawaii at $4.66, and Nevada and Oregon at nearly $4.28.
In the southeastern states of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, gasoline prices are relatively low, all below $3.70 a gallon.
The average gasoline price rose 3.6% from $3.572 a week ago and 12.1% from $3.423 a month ago.
The average price of gasoline jumped 39.8% from $2.745 a gallon a year earlier.
