"Solids and concentrates" means the product concept of providing cosmetic preparations in solid form or concentrated liquid form, especially for the promotion of sustainable development. However, anhydrous care products or concentrates are inconvenient to use and often do not perform as well as emulsion-based liquid products.

Cosmetic manufacturers use silicones to solve the above problems in many cases.

DIY Homemade Hair Mask

Silicone-based water-soluble hair masks can be formulated into DIY products that are extremely easy to use: simply dissolve the solid product in water, and the resulting warm suspension can be used like a conditioner.

WACKER's formulation here was developed with the help of two silicone products. BELSIL® CDM 3526 VP low-melting silicone wax is well-known and proven in the cosmetic industry for evenly dispersing the conditioning oils contained in formulations, leaving hair silky, soft and manageable. The new product, BELSIL® PF 100 Phenyl Silicone Fluid, is a further component of the formulation that enhances these effects and provides a shinier hair.

WACKER's highly concentrated formulations at in-cosmetics include a new concentrated shampoo with half the water content of conventional shampoos and a correspondingly higher content of surfactants. This concentrated product performs as well as regular shampoos: it leaves hair cleansed and conditioned during the wash, leaving it silky, soft, manageable and attractive.

The above-mentioned effects of the formulation are facilitated by BELSIL® DADM 3240 E silicone emulsion.
