According to foreign media reports, Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. announced the development of the thermal interface silicone rubber sheet "TC-BGI series", which can be used in electric vehicle parts. The new product "TC-BGI series" is a high-hardness thermal interface silicone rubber sheet realized by Shin-Etsu Chemical through its own technology, which has both high pressure resistance and thermal conductivity. The new product is available in 2 thicknesses, 0.2mm and 0.3mm.
The main features of this new product are as follows:
The industry's highest level of pressure resistance is achieved. This product can ensure the withstand voltage of 3kV with a thickness of 0.2mm, and the withstand voltage of 5kV on the entire surface of the sheet with a thickness of 0.3mm. In addition, Shin-Etsu Chemical is also developing new products that use a 0.2mm-thick sheet on the entire sheet surface to ensure a withstand voltage exceeding 4kV.
Has a high thermal conductivity of 7W/m·K.
High hardness, high strength, and the processability is better than the pad type.
